We are looking for a confident troupe of high energy dancers to bring our immersive flashmob-style entertainment to life this Halloween season! Dance experience / training is preferable, alongside strong availability for both the rehearsal dates (there will be a lot to learn!) and event nights themselves.
Rates of pay are £13.50p/h for rehearsals, and £80 per night for performances. Weekday evening rehearsal hours will be 5:30pm - 10pm, and weekends 3:00pm - 7pm. The approximate event hours are 5pm - 11:15pm (this includes costume & make up / warm up / cool down time, as well as performing as part of the event itself - with regular breaks factored in through the evening)
Part of the below application is a (fairly long!) list of dates. Please tick the boxes representing all of your possible availability. Bear in mind that availability will be part of our decision making process. So if you have something planned that could be rearranged, please mark yourself as available for that date.
Please also note that while we do provide costumes, we do not provide base layer black leotards / black dance shoes. Performers on this team would be expected to provide their own.
There is no public transport to York Maze, so you will need to be able to get here too.
* Dancers under 18 years old MUST have parental consent. We do not accept applications from anyone under 16 years old.
